Ever wondered who picks the winners of the hottest hairdressing awards in the UK and Ireland? Well, this year, our very own Barrie Stephen was honoured to be invited to be a judge for Creative HEAD’s Most Wanted awards.
“These awards celebrate the absolute cream of the crop in British and Irish hairdressing,” Barrie says. “The talent, the creativity, the sheer innovation – it’s truly inspiring! Being part of the judging panel was an incredible experience.”
It’s not just about picking the best cuts and colours, though. The Most Wanted awards recognise all kinds of hairdressing heroes. From groundbreaking stylists to talented educators and the masterminds behind the most sustainable salons, these awards shine a light on every aspect of this amazing industry.
Entries were judged by a panel of industry experts (including Barrie!), from top journalists and fashion designers to salon business gurus. Winning a Most Wanted trophy isn’t just about bragging rights, it’s a chance to be recognised on a national stage, land incredible prizes, and take your hairdressing career to the next level.
