Barrie Stephen is shortlisted for shaping a red-hot salon business
Barrie Stephen is now officially one of the UK’s most business-savvy salon directors after being short listed for the UK’s ‘Most Wanted Business Pro’ award.
The ‘UK’s Most Wanted’ hairdressing awards, now in their eighth year –and running in conjunction with Creative HEAD magazine, are widely recognised in the hair industry as some of the most prestigious and influential accolades for UK stylists. Other categories include, Most Wanted Salon Team, Most wanted One to Watch and Most Wanted Creative Director. The Business Pro category makes its debut this year and there’s no doubt that Barrie is excited about it.

Barrie Stephen, winner of the Entrepreneur of the Year 2007 at the Leicestershire Business Awards, is one of three salon directors short listed for this year’s title of 2008 ‘UK’s Most Wanted Business Pro’. The winner will be announced on September 1st at a glitzy ceremony in London where giants of the hairdressing world will gather at a sensational 17th century Banqueting House in London’s Whitehall. Justin Lee Collins, co-presenter of Channel 4’s The Sunday Night Project will be hosting the evening.
